St. James Town Festival Awards

Purpose

The St. James Town Festival Awards were created in order to recognize exceptional contributions and achievements by community members, groups and businesses, that have resulted in creating positive changes in the St. James Town Community.

Examples of exceptional contributions would include: Outstanding community service, directly benefitting St. James Town; voluntary services, coaching, administrative support, good human acts of kindness; individuals that go above and beyond; financial contributions and initiatives; creating a positive public image; someone who leads the way and sets good examples in the community etc. etc.

The 2016 Awards will recognize contributions made over the past year (June 2015 – June 2016). 10 Awards and 2 Scholarships will be given out this year. Deadline for nominations will be 4:30 pm on Friday, August 12, 2016. Community members or organizations can nominate individuals or groups in each of the categories by completing the attached form. Each nomination must be on a separate form. Nominations will be accepted electronically (e-mailed to sjtfestival@stjamestown.org) or drop off at the Community Corner at 200 Wellesley Street East.
