As part of our efforts to set up the 240 Share and Reuse space, we had a group of students from University of Toronto helping us out create an inventory for all the donated tools at the space. The six students worked alongside Th Corner staff for three days to create a comprehensive inventory of all items received through the donation drive organised earlier this year. From laboriously cleaning and coding each tool/equipment and photographing it individually, to painstakingly matching it with the description into the catalogue, the students were thorough with their work. They worked in perfect sync with each other coordinating the work to suit everyone interests and skill set. “We are proud of the work we did with The Corner when we remind ourselves how this project will impact the lives of everyone in the community and the neighbourhood.” – Saudah, team member We would like to thank the team of students and the university for their support with the 240 space and to the cause of share and reuse. |
