In Conversation with Chris Moise

In this live-streamed interview, Toronto District School Board (TDSB) school trustee Chris Moise shares with The Corner his perspective and analysis on advancing equity in our community’s schools – both the challenges, and the achievements in which he has played a vital role.  Not the least of these achievements has been the elimination of “streaming” of grade 9 and 10 kids, which more recently the province of Ontario has decided to finally address. Chris also shares some of his own life story, which is itself a window on the multiple ways that racism affects Black children, discouraging them from attaining their full potential in education and careers.
